LIFEGUARD - PART TIME / SEASONAL POSITION
The Cushing Aquatic Center is currently taking applications for lifeguard positions. This is a part-time / seasonal position with the City of Cushing. This position serves as a pool lifeguard and assists in teaching swimming lessons.
Applications are on the website - Click Here to view the online application - or they can be picked up from City Hall. Applications can be returned to the HR director at City Hall or emailed to hr@cityofcushing.org. They can also be given to one of the Aquatic Center Managers, Julie Puls or Ayan Gaskins.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must be able to complete and pass the Lifeguard training.
- Working knowledge of the equipment, facilities, operations, and techniques used in a comprehensive aquatics program.
- Skilled in operation of tools and equipment pertinent to fulfill this position.
- Skilled in First Aid and CPR.
- Ability to effectively teach swimming lessons.
- Ability to effectively enforce safety and health regulations relating to an aquatics program.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, participants, instructors, and the general public.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally.
- Ability to give and understand oral instructions.
