🚧 We’re Hiring: Water- Sewer Maintenance Skilled Laborer 🚧
The City of Cushing is accepting applications for a Laborer in the Water–Sewer Maintenance Division. This position performs manual labor, equipment operation, and maintenance tasks related to the municipal water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
This is an essential position that supports the City’s utility operations and requires reliability, physical stamina, and the ability to work in all weather conditions.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Oklahoma driver’s license: CDL or ability to obtain CDL within 6 months.
- Ability to obtain a Class “D” Oklahoma Water Maintenance License and a Class “D” Sewer Maintenance License within 6 months of hire date.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting 50+ pounds, bending, digging, and working in confined spaces.
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions.
- Must pass required pre-employment background checks and drug/alcohol testing in compliance with Oklahoma law and municipal policy.

Journeyman Line Worker
The City of Cushing is now accepting applications for a Journeyman Lineman to work under the supervision of the Electric Superintendent.
👉🏻 Applications are being accepted until the position is filled
Applicant must be skilled in the construction and maintenance of high voltage and low voltage electric line’s, overhead and underground to include installing and removal of electric poles, transformers, insulators and associated equipment, etc.
Must provide a Journeyman Line Certificate.
