The city of Cushing, Oklahoma is seeking to fill positions for Police Officers. Cushing Police and Fire recently moved into a state-of-the-art public safety center. Cushing is a diverse community of approximately 8,327 Ideally situated less than 1 hour from Oklahoma City and Tulsa. We are also within 30 minutes of Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. Officers who successfully complete the FTO Program and reside within 15 minutes of city limits are eligible to participate in the take-home vehicle program.

Hourly $20.47 - $21.53

Minimum Requirements

• 21 years of age
• U.S. citizen
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• No convictions or felonies, crimes or moral turpitude, or domestic violence
• Requires the successful passing of an extensive background investigation and all required physical, psychological and skill testing. You must have an excellent history of personal conduct, behavior and employment.
• Must be CLEET certified or have the ability to obtain.

The Cushing Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Communication Specialist / Detention Officer. 

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have no criminal background, and possess a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license.
