Pharmacy Clerk / Delivery Driver

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour

Pharmacy Clerk / Delivery Driver is responsible for assisting the pharmacy technicians and pharmacists with day-to-day operational needs, including in-store customer service and driving to local areas for deliveries. This position is required to adhere to the company’s quality customer service standards, policies and procedures, state, and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Working the cash registers for patients picking up prescriptions or over-the-counter items.
• Answering phone calls to take refill requests, answer questions, or transfer to pharmacist.
• Restocking shelves with daily orders of prescription drugs or over-the-counter items.
• Bag and hang prescriptions that are filled and ready for pickup in the Will-Call section.
• Assist with cleaning the workspace and pharmacy areas.
• Perform clerk assignments requested by pharmacy management.
• Deliver prescriptions to patients while ensuring a great customer experience

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy or retail work experience.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
• Have a valid Driver’s License and have a good driving record
