CAMPUS: Drumright Campus

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Assist with the daily operations of Transportation and Safety Education by being responsible for instruction, safety and other duties as required.

RESPONSIBLE TO: TDT Director & Assistant Director

SKILLS REQUIRED: Ability to counsel and instruct students in a professional manner and appearance. Proficient in skills as they relate to operations of Class B, School Bus and Passenger Bus. Ability to prioritize workload and maintain organized records. Mature, discreet, and responsible. Work well under pressure and take initiative. Ability to utilize computers in daily operations. Ability to meet and confer with individuals and groups concerning a variety of subjects including confidential matters. Ability to travel and teach satellite classes.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Two years School Bus driving experience. Knowledge of current state and federal regulations relating to the class B School Bus, Transit Bus and the Class B trucking industry.

EDUCATION: High School diploma or G.E.D. required; college degree preferred.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) effective teaching concepts, current school laws and state and federal regulations related to students.

STARTING DATE: May 1, 2025

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Part-time
