Job Responsibilities:
Exhibiting stewardship for the cooperative, the Power Systems Operator professionally represents the cooperative by being diligent and responsive regarding outage and service quality calls. The Power System Operator maintains the safety of the membership, general public and Cooperative personnel as a priority while performing duties which include monitoring data from Smart Grid enabled devices and integrated systems, determining the priority and appropriate resources required, generating service orders and efficiently dispatching the necessary line crews and other related tasks. The Power Systems Operator aids in improving system reliability by monitoring power quality and load management data along with trending historical data and carrying out the objectives and goals of the Cooperative.

Job Qualifications:
• Solid Educational Background - High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or other energy related field preferred.
• Electric distribution experience in medium voltage construction, maintenance, or dispatching is preferred.
• Proficient skill with Microsoft 365.
• May be required to work irregular hours.
• Must have and maintain a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
